Citizen Soldier was born when frontman Jake Segura penned the lyrics to one of their first songs from a psychiatric hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Segura now sits on the other side of the therapy couch, working as a licensed trauma counselor to tell the stories of those navigating internal struggles through a no-frils alt/rock post/grunge packaging.
