Originating from Bavaria, Germany, this three-piece band made a significant impact with their debut albums, „Shadows to Fall“ (1997) and „Slaughtering Thoughts“ (2000). Their reputation was further solidified through a 2002 tour supporting Cryptopsy and a standout performance at the Maryland Deathfest in 2004 alongside Misery Index and Exhumed. On December 4, 2020, PROFANITY unveiled their latest full-length album, „Fragments of Solace.“ The band’s mission for this release was clear: „We wanted to transport the vibe of the most important death metal releases for us from the ’90s into the present and mix it with our vision of extreme music.
