HARROWED (swe) + KARDROZ (aut)

Harrowed is a maggot-ridden Death Metal band from Stockholm, Sweden, featuring members from ex-Morbus Chron, Tribulation’s live-department, VAK and Dead Lord, among others. Harrowed likes their Death Metal old, stinking and raw. Harrowed doesn't concern themselves with triggered drums, guitars or bases with a greater number of strings than they’re supposed to have, cymbals with holes in them, nor with vocals that don't sound like the dying grunts of someone who is staring straight into the abyss of horrific eternity. For those who prefer name-dropping rather than thinking for oneself, Harrowed likes bands like Autopsy, Entombed, Death Strike, Obituary and Repulsion, to name a few. Harrowed has recorded a debut album called “The Eternal Hunger” together with Robert Pehrsson (Death Breath) behind the controls, and it RIPS. It’s released on Dying Victims Productions the 27th of February 2026. KARDROZ has been a notable presence in the Austrian extreme metal underground for quite a few years. Startng from their early demo days KARDROZ solidified their underground credentials with two genre-bending EPs and a series of live performances on national and international stages. For their latest EP KARDROZ went to Doom Studio in Linz. Under the auspices of Markus Matzinger, who has previously worked with some of Linz's finest hardcore and punk acts such as IMPLORE and HECKSPOILER, KARDROZ transcended the limitations of their strictly-DYI days. The result is an uncompromisingly heavy modern sound with a distinct, gritty-quality that is sure to snub the primitive-and-raw and sterile norm-core crowds alike. KARDROZ's third EP “Severe Dysfunction“ offers 16 minutes of rumbling, grooving death grind. The five songs are ted together by their common lyrical theme: the dissolution of the ego caused by societal forces and its psychotic rebirth from the great nothingness.
