In einer Rock-Welt, die von nerdigem Crunk-Wave, albernem Egg-Punk und chronisch schlecht gelauntem Post-Punk dominiert wird, sind SUCK der lebende Beweis dafür, dass es immer noch möglich ist, cool zu spielen, Spaß zu haben und gleichzeitig tight zu rocken. Nachdem sie sich 2023 mit Gitarrenfreak Gabriel alias Garry neu formiert hatten, kehrten sie sofort auf die Bühne zurück. Sie brauchten nicht einmal eine Sekunde, um Luft zu holen! SUCKs Mischung aus straightem Punk, groovigem 70er-Jahre-Rock und Thrash-Metal, gekrönt von Isabells Stimme, ist eine Naturgewalt. Sie sind eine der besten aktuellen deutschen Live-Bands. With phased-out electric guitars, eccentric synths, lo-fi drum loops, and vocals that channel the raw energy of ’80s hardcore punk; HYPERDOG creates a sound that is both reminiscent of bands like Joy Division and Black Flag, yet remains unmistakably their own. Recorded in the winter of 2023 at Support Nothing Studios, the three-piece released their widely acclaimed debut LP ‘Frog Mountain’ in April 2024 via Swish Swash Records. After touring across Europe and Australia and sharing the stage with esteemed contemporaries such as Powerplant and Glitterer, they released their EP ‘Tales From The Mountain‘ in December 2024 via Goodbye Boozy Records.
