In 2014 vonden Sander en Witte, na onderzoek bij het Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek, een gezin dat op allerlei vlakken zo gemiddeld was als maar kan. Met hun medeweten werden de gezinsleden een week lang non-stop afgeluisterd in hun eigen huis. Ze verwerkten de audiotranscripten tot een theaterscenario, dat door vier acteurs natuurgetrouw wordt nagespeeld.
