DANCEHALL WORKSHOP
Jamaican Dancehall - eine Tanzrichtung voller Energie und Coolness, die zahlreiche Menschen weltweit mitreißt. In diesem Workshop erlernen wir die technischen Basics des Dancehall und erarbeiten gemeinsam eine kurze Choreo.
Wir blicken weit über unsere Landesgrenzen hinaus und tauchen tief in die pulsierende Welt Jamaikas ein, wo die Dancehall-Kultur sowohl als Ausdrucksform als auch als Mittel zur Heilung entstand. Wir konzentrieren uns auf die Kraft der Bewegung, das Geschichtenerzählen hinter dem Tanz und den Rhythmus, der Menschen über Generationen und Kontinente hinweg verbindet.
In diesem Workshop geht es nicht nur darum, Tanzschritte zu erlernen. Ebenso steht die emotionale, spirituelle und körperliche Befreiung im Mittelpunkt, die Dancehall bietet. Ziel ist es, dir die Möglichkeit zu geben, in diese Erfahrung einzutauchen und die transformative Kraft des Dancehall zu entdecken.

We will look far beyond our national borders and dive deep into the vibrant world of Jamaica, where dancehall culture emerged both as a form of expression and as a means of healing. We will focus on the power of movement, the storytelling behind the dance, and the rhythm that connects people across generations and continents.
This workshop is not just about learning dance steps. It also focuses on the emotional, spiritual, and physical liberation that dancehall offers. The goal is to give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in this experience and discover the transformative power of dancehall.
