JASON – CHANSPLAINING • English Stand Up Comedy

What happens when a Chinese-Canadian professor who has lived in Hong Kong, Canada, Germany and Austria decides that teaching students isn't enough and starts telling jokes instead? Jason Chan takes audiences on a hilarious journey through identity, stereotypes, relationships, language and the absurdities of everyday life. From growing up Chinese in Canada to navigating German directness and Austrian peculiarities, Jason has spent most of his life trying to figure out where he belongs. Now he's decided to make everyone else laugh about it. Part cultural commentary, part personal confession, and entirely unqualified life advice, CHANSPLAINING explores what happens when East meets West, academic intelligence meets common sense, and a professor discovers that making people laugh is harder than giving them grades. One man. Several cultures. Far too many opinions. Come for the comedy. Stay for the Chansplaining. Instagram: @jasonchancomedy Door: 19:00 Start: 20:00 This Event will be held in english
