Linz ISFF Competition 5: Traces of Elsewhere

Places linger within us as images, voices, memories, and desires. From fleeting encounters and recoverd memories to journeys across borders, these films explore how landscapes shape our lives and how conflict unsettles our sense of home. Family photographs, conversations across time, and everyday cravings reveal connections that endure across distance. The intimate and the political meet in gestures of remembrance, resilience, and longing. Elsewhere becomes part of the present, carried in what we remember and what we continue to seek.
