Über die Veranstaltung Free Entry / Donation-based / Registration optional Freier Eintritt / Spenden basiert / Anmeldung optional MODI is a phenomenological journey from body, mind, and space to paper and back. At the core of the residency and the showcase is an ongoing research-based practice developed by Magdalena - Invisible Chaos Practice (ICP) - which investigates the role of the body, imagination, and perception within contemporary dance and improvisation. The project provides a laboratory space for embodied inquiry, where attention is directed toward sensory awareness, emotional states, and presence in the here and now. MODI within ICP explores how invisible, internal experiences can become tangible through automatic drawing and movement. In the form of unfinished sketches (almost like screenshots) the sensations, thoughts, and impulses emerging from the body and surrounding space are recorded. Then, these visual traces return to the body, becoming re-embodied through movement and improvisation creating a continuous feedback loop… Mehr anzeigen
