„what already exists“ In this workshop we are focusing translating our actual self into our dance. By expanding, developing and playing with movements and informations that already exists in our body we follow the music, our surrounding and our momental needs. Bio Maira Darja moves between HipHop Jams, performing arts and something she refers to as shared-education, exploring rhythms that nurture and therefore challenge. In their work „Creating Spaces that Provide- The Anti-Capital-Colonial Toolbox“, a playful remembrance and immersion in the body’s native rhythms – Maira develops tools for immediate change in the present. Maira continually deepens and shares her research in various forms as well as pedagogy and movement approach within Hip Hop dance – focusing on a dance that nurtures Flucc Community Dance Workshops curated by Karin Cheng Workshop Dates 2026: 7.10. 14.10. 21.10. 28.10. 04.11. 11.11.
