In cooperation with the Chelsea Pub Linz we start to host acoustic music nights. Have a good night with us and listen to Irish artists and many more! SHANE Ó FEARGHAIL (AT/IR) Shane Ó Fearghail is an Irish bred Singer-songwriter now based in Austria. Born in Dublin, he grew playing Irish music at home and abroad. Songwriting was the next creative step. His musical style is Irish Indie and Dark Folk. A storyteller at heart, and comedian at times, Shane relishes playing live. The relationship between band and audience is key to that. It is community, or “common unity”, as he tells it. It is something learned from “family sessions” at home. Stories too are important. Ireland has always been a big part Shane’s story, his songs and tradition. And when talking to him, you get the feeling that Ireland is never too far away. ANTHONY MCBRIDE (AT/IR) Irish singer-songwriter Anthony McBride hails from the rugged beauty of Donegal’s Rosguill Gaeltacht, where music is woven into everyday life. Raised in a musical culture shaped by lively pub sessions for visitors from around the world, McBride developed a richly varied style that adapts to any setting. In his original songs, listeners will discover the spirit of his coastal home, and melodies that feel both familiar and strikingly new.
