Die Königsklasse der europäischen Brass-Band-Szene ist 2026 in Linz zu Gast. Von 20. bis 26. April 2026 finden die 47. European Brass Band Championships (EBBC 2026) im Brucknerhaus Linz statt. Rund 1.000 Musiker:innen aus ganz Europa machen die Stadt in diesen Tagen zum internationalen Zentrum der Brass-Band-Szene. 36 renommierte Brass Bands treten im Rahmen hochkarätiger Wettbewerbe und begleitender Konzerte an. Ergänzt wird das Programm durch die 10th European Soloist Competition, bei der sich herausragende Solist:innen präsentieren, sowie durch die European Youth Brass Band, die junge Spitzenmusiker:innen aus ganz Europa vereint. Ergänzende Formate wie die Brass Meile und zahlreiche Konzerte im ganzen Land öffnen das Festival über das Brucknerhaus hinaus und verankern die EBBC 2026 im kulturellen Leben Oberösterreichs.
