Mit TANZ LINZ stellt er seine persönliche Auseinandersetzung mit dem antiken Mythos von Amor und Psyche vor.Im Mittelpunkt steht Psyches Suche nach Selbstliebe als Voraussetzung für die Liebe zu einer anderen Person. Im eindrücklichen Finale findet das die Neugier weckende Fragezeichen des Titels seine Auflösung. Denn die ewige Frage, weshalb dieser wilde Strudel der Empfindungen wieder und wieder zu durchleben ist, findet ihr Ziel darin, die wahre Liebe zu finden und eine erfüllte Partnerschaft voller Genuss, Freude und Lust erfahren zu können.In seiner Kreation verbindet Verbruggen eine fein nuancierte Choreografie mit Humor und Freude am Detail. Die Begleitung durch das Bruckner Orchester Linz eröffnet dabei mit Kompositionen von Charles Ives über Gabriel Fauré bis hin zu einem griechischen Schlager von Alkistis Protopsalti einen attraktiven musikalischen Assoziationsrahmen.
