Belle and Sebastian vieren in 2026 het 30-jarig jubileum van hun eerste twee albums, ‘Tigermilk’ en ‘If You’re Feeling Sinister’. Ter ere daarvan speelt de band beide platen integraal op twee avonden in Paradiso. De in 1996 verschenen albums groeiden al snel uit tot cultklassiekers, geroemd om hun poëtische scherpte, melodische kracht en blijvende invloed. Pitchfork noemde ‘Tigermilk’ “onberispelijk” en The Guardian prees ‘If You’re Feeling Sinister’ als “subtiel poëtisch en prachtig melodieus.” Elke avond staat één album centraal, gevolgd door een set met geliefde nummers uit hun volledige repertoire. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
