Their sound is rooted in sonic extremes, blending elements of primitive black metal, raw punk, and power electronics. Their live performances are marked by a feral cacophony in near darkness, with violently rattling chains, piercing noise, and an atmosphere of chaos and threat. Prayer Position’s self titled debut was released as a limited run cassette in 2021 on Rhode Island’s Primitive Propaganda, and was reissued years later on vinyl by Poisonous Sorcery. They had also contributed to Blood Price, a four way split along with Final Dose (UK), Otras(Slovakia), and Haunting Figure, which was released in the EU by Into Endless Chaos, and in the US by Neon Nile.
