However, as a collective, it becomes clear that identity categories and their acceptance only contribute to a limited extent to bringing about fundamental change towards an inclusive world. We must take action both as individuals and as a collective. Are we perpetuating existing exclusion without being aware of it because we are doing the same thing in rainbow colors? Queering as a verb in the progressive form allows us to understand our practices as processes and to try things out. A queer inclusive world currently exists only in the imagination; it requires experimentation, a trial run that shows us whether our actions, at least for the time being, create more space for plural forms of expression.
