De Portugese multi-instrumentalist, songwriter en producer MARO maakt dromerige pop waarin werelden samenkomen. Na haar studie aan Berklee brak ze door met vijf albums en een reeks samenwerkingen met artiesten als Eric Clapton, Lizzy McAlpine en Jacob Collier, met wie ze ook op tour ging. In 2022 vertegenwoordigde ze Portugal op Eurovision met 'saudade, saudade', waarmee ze internationaal doorbrak. Haar muziek beweegt tussen akoestische folk, soulvolle pop en elektronische experimenten. Met haar nieuwste werk luidt MARO een nieuw hoofdstuk in, vol warmte, licht en eigentijdse energie.
