Zum sechsten Mal findet an der Bruckneruniversität der OÖ Operettenwettbewerb statt, bei dem eine international besetzte Jury aus Intendanten, Dirigenten und Agenturen die Operettenstars von morgen kürt. In einer Vorrunde werden die Finalist/innen ermittelt, die sich dann in einem Abschlusskonzert der Jury und dem Publikum präsentieren.
