„And then I hear his voice, and then I saw this monster in my dream, and I was not sure if it was in my mind...“, immer und immer wieder, eine Obsession, ein Rätsel, ein Gebet. Und die Overture zu Gui B.Bs „spektralem Körpergedicht“, der Weg hinein in ihre Echokammer, die sie sowohl abzuschirmen als auch dem gesamten Weltgewicht gesteigert auszusetzen scheint. Ein gesichert unsicherer Raum, in dem die Künstlerin ihre Erfahrungen mit Geldschulden und die Spuren, die diese im Körper hinterlassen, konfrontiert und transformiert. Zwischen Witz, Schrecken und Euphorie entwirft Gui B.B eine „Erotik der Schuld“.

“And then I hear his voice, and then I saw this monster in my dream, and I was not sure if it was in my mind...”, over and over, an obsession, a riddle, a prayer. And the overture to Gui B.B’s “spectral corporeal poem”, the path into her echo chamber that seems to both shield her and expose her to the full weight of the world with increased intensity. A safely unsafe space in which the artist confronts and transforms her experiences with monetary debt and the traces they leave in the body. Between humour, horror and euphoria, Gui B.B maps out an “erotics of debt”.
