1. Introduction

Welcome to EventSpotter (the “Platform”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Platform. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

2. Account Creation and Login

You can access the Platform by logging in with a third-party service such as Google, GitHub, or LinkedIn. By logging in via these services, you agree to their respective terms and privacy policies, which govern the use of their services.

By logging in through these third-party services, you authorize us to access certain data (e.g., your name, email, and profile picture) provided by the service. You also acknowledge and agree that these platforms may collect and use your data in accordance with their privacy policies.

The Platform allows users to access and interact with various content and events. You agree to use the Platform for lawful purposes only. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to, the use of the Platform for spamming, defamation, harassment, or violating the rights of others.

4. User-Generated Content

Users may post content such as event information, comments, and feedback on the Platform. By posting content, you grant EventSpotter a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute the content on the Platform.

You represent and warrant that you have the right to post such content and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. By using the Platform, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. You are also responsible for ensuring that the personal information you provide is accurate and up-to-date.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EventSpotter will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if we determine that you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Platform.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Austria. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Linz, Austria.
