Cassies is an independent Indie-Rock band based in Vienna, Austria. Founded in early 2024, the release of their debut album "Somewhere Unexpected" set on October 30, 2026, marks a milestone in the bands history of collective commitment and outpour of creativity. "Somewhere Unexpected", recorded and mixed by Alex 'Fire' Tomann and mastered by Martin Scheer, mirrors the everlasting process of breaking down and building yourself up again, a shared experience amongst the five-piece band. The music combines alternative approaches with familiar song structures derived from Pop, Psychedelic-Rock and Rap, creating a musical expression that is both modern and tangible, a natural bridge between the new and the familiar.
