Artist Talks 15 with Michael Langeneckert will focus on auditions, exploring topics such as what makes a dancer stand out, how the applicant pool has evolved in recent years and practical “audition life hacks”. Michael Langeneckert is an internationally active choreographer, dancer, and lecturer based in Germany. Since 2018, he has led independent projects under Moving Orchestra and guest choreographed at theatres and universities across Europe. He teaches contemporary dance widely and previously served as training and rehearsal director at Staatstheater Kassel and Mainz. He has also worked as a freelance and permanent dancer at various theatres in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
