This show is part of Tones De veelzijdige rapper en TikTok sensatie Bokoesam bracht in 2014 zijn debuut EP ‘Nog Nooit Meegemaakt’ uit. Typische Sam classics als ‘No Go Zone’, ’50 Cent’, ‘Mijn Schuld’, ‘Net Iets Meer’, en ‘Go Go Club’ hebben de tand des tijds doorstaan en zijn nog steeds veelvuldig te horen in clubs en op festivals. Daarnaast mocht Bokoesam het afgelopen decennium de prestigieuze Popprijs én twee Edison’s in ontvangst nemen, met het grensverleggende collectief ‘New Wave’. In de afgelopen jaren hebben we verschillende geluiden van Bokoesam gehoord. In 2023 bracht hij zijn laatste project uit, de EP ‘Party Sam’. Het album 'Nachtvlinder' werd bekroond met een gouden plaat en legde de basis voor zijn Nederlandstalige dancehallstijl die we horen op 'Go Go Club Vol. 1' en 'Doe Het Nou Gewoon'. Bokoesam sloot het jaar 2024 af met ‘Nachtvlinder 2’, een persoonlijker album waarop hij openhartig deelt hoe de afgelopen jaren voor hem waren. In 2022 bouwde Bokoesam zijn liveshow uit en speelde voor het eerst met een volwaardige dancehall band. Vervolgens werd Bokoesam uitgenodigd om Zomercarnaval Rotterdam af te sluiten, als headliner van het evenement. Geïnspireerd door de dancehall show en het feit dat de diverse geluiden uit zijn gehele oeuvre goed tot zijn recht komen in een live setting, hebben ervoor gezorgd dat Bokoesam een vaste live set up heeft ontwikkeld.
