Through choreography, text, theatricality and transformation, five performers play with how gender is performed, inherited, desired and disrupted. Like Shakespeare’s forest, Boy Q creates a world where familiar rules loosen and the body becomes a site for experimentation, contradiction, pleasure and becoming.
