Edom ist das Bandprojekt des US-Gitarristen Eyal Maoz, der mit seinen kongenialen Mitmusikern Brian Marsella (keyboards), Shanir Ezra Blumenkranz (bass) und Yuval Lion (drums) bereits 2018 in Kufstein begeisterte. Edom führt uns in die viel zu selten besuchte Kreuzung von instrumentalem Pop, Jazz und Avantgarde, eine einzigartige Synthese aus jüdischer Musik, New Wave, Elektronik und Disco: Presse: „Maoz' furchteinflößender Vierer schwelgt in nahöstlichen Modi und Melodien ... und verschmilzt dann, ebenso natürlich, mit süßer melodischer Wehmut und berauschendem und blutigem Downtown-Lärm ... Grandios.“ (The Buffalo News) Laut John Zorn ist es „ekstatische Musik für eine neue Generation“.
