Al meer dan vijfentwintig jaar is Floor Jansen een van de meest succesvolle zangeressen van Nederland. Haar carrière begon in 1995 bij de symfonische metalband After Forever, waarmee ze internationaal doorbrak. Na het uiteenvallen van deze band sloot ze zich aan bij de Finse formatie Nightwish en groeide ze uit tot een wereldnaam binnen de metal. In Nederland ontdekte het grote publiek haar stem pas echt in 2019, toen ze meedeed aan Beste Zangers. Haar uitvoering van The Phantom of the Opera met Henk Poort maakte diepe indruk en markeerde het begin van haar solocarrière. Daarna volgden vele successen en eigen releases, waaronder het winnen van de Popprijs in 2019 en de release van haar eigen album Paragon in 2023. Niet alleen haar muziek, maar ook haar krachtige levensverhaal spreekt haar publiek aan: zo overwon ze borstkanker en deelt ze haar ervaringen op het gebied van moederschap en haar leven als artiest graag met haar fans. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso.
