VINYL-ONLY-WORKSHOP: The Art of Vinyl Mixing ABSTRACT: As part of GENERATE 2026, a unique DJ workshop will take place at 6 pm at Gasthof Gehringer in Graz. Entitled “Vinyl-Only”, this creative session offers beginners and vinyl enthusiasts the chance to immerse themselves in the world of analogue DJing. The three-hour workshop offers an introduction to the technical basics of turntables and mixing desks and provides an overview of how the individual components work. From setting up a DJ set and beatmatching to basic mixing techniques, workshop leader Robbe from the Graz-based drum and bass collective Schallware aims to share his passion for vinyl with the participants. After a brief theory session, it’s time to get mixing. Hands-on vinyl guaranteed!
