Screening (im Rahmen von Independent Space Index – The festival for independent art spaces) FILMSCREENING UND TALK Natalia Gurova, GIANT HOGWEED: A DECEPTIVE GIFT IN VIENNA Im Mittelpunkt des Videos, dass anlässlich des Wandertheaters während der Wienwoche 2025 am Ballhausplatz gedreht wurde, steht der Riesen-Bärenklau (Heracleum mantegazzianum), eine Pflanze, die angeblich als diplomatisches Geschenk von Zar Alexander I. an Fürst Metternich nach Wien gelangte. Einst als exotische Rarität bewundert, wurde sie später invasiv, giftig und nahezu unausrottbar. Die Performance entfaltet diese Geschichte als Allegorie auf Diplomatie, Migration und Täuschung – eine Erzählung, in der wir aus der Perspektive der Vergangenheit über die Gegenwart sprechen Transcultural Emancipation ＆ Raashish India, RIVER CALLLING Der Film über das Chiang Rai International Performance Art Project 2026: River Landscapes of Resistance entstand aus der Perspektive von Teilnehmenden und hält Momente wie Vorträge von Wissenschaftler:innen und Performances fest.
