Inspiriert von Vintage-Mode, Postkarten und diversen Couch-Mustern, formt sie ihre Texte so, dass sie Geschichten und Gefühle auf tiefgründige Weise vermitteln. Die aus Portland (Oregon, USA) stammende Künstlerin verschmilzt Folk, Rock, Americana und Singer-Songwriter-Elemente zu einer ganz eigenen musikalischen Welt. Sie lässt sich von Künstlerinnen wie Feist, Billie Holiday, Brandi Carlile, Sheryl Crow und Amy Winehouse inspirieren und verwebt diese Einflüsse zu Songs über Liebe, Leben, Verlust, Gewinn und neue Perspektiven. Ihre Texte sind authentisch, introspektiv und nachdenklich. Nachdem sie ihre Songs innerhalb von anderthalb Jahren auf vier Europatouren präsentiert hat, ist Lujan bereit, ihre Vielseitigkeit und künstlerische Weiterentwicklung auf ihrem neuen Album zu zeigen, das im Frühjahr 2026 erschien. Lucky Penny wurde zudem im Rolling Stone besprochen und mit 4 von 5 Sternen ausgezeichnet; die Songs schafften es auf offizielle Playlists von Spotify und Apple Music.
