Vroege shows en opnames trokken vergelijkingen met My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Yo La Tengo, Spacemen 3 en Sonic Youth, waardoor de band al snel een reputatie opbouwde als een niet te missen act binnen de underground shoegaze- en psychscene. Met hun titelloze debuut-EP werd de band een belangrijke speler in de shoegaze revival van eind jaren 2000. Maar het vierde nummer, 'Starting Over', kwam naar voren als een bepalend moment. 'Starting Over' is inmiddels uitgegroeid van een fanfavoriet tot een modern shoegaze-anthem, eentje die vandaag de dag goed past binnen die nieuwe shoegazegolf die ook sinds de jaren 2020 weer voorbij spoelt. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein. Restaurant Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show.
