zu den Tickets! Nostalgic Dystopian & Last.by.schachermayer present: Drew McDowall, Rosa Nebel & Cathedral Drowning Drew McDowall (Ambient/Drone, Glasgow) The legendary Scottish composer and musician will perform in Linz for the very first time, an exclusive Austrian show! He is well known for his work in the more then legendary industrial bands Coil & Psychic TV and also for his collaboration efforts with LEYA, Puce Mary and Kali Malone. Drew McDowall’s works are sacraments to alterity. An artist who has refused to conform in music and in life. He mines the hallucinatory spaces that exist between reality and celestial otherness. His meditative compositions are haunting and spiritual, melding intricate modular soundscapes with cut-up samples, and deconstructing sounds into their most basic shuddering structures and shapes. The disorienting ambient mirages that result elicit terror, tender melancholy, and heavenly flickers of expansive beauty. McDowall creates music of immanence and alchemy, attuned equally to the sacred and the profane. Rosa Nebel (Industrial Techno, Vienna) Electronic Sounds from the viennese gutters! After 5 Years the solo act released his new album "Pseudofreiheit der Beliebigkeit" with the combination of distorted monologues which echoes through the sound, Rosa Nebel destroys idealized concepts of your world, explores human abyssesand doesn't ask for sympathy. Der Widerspruch, er lebt! Cathedral Drowning (Ambient, Mostviertel) Ethereal ambient and folkloric soundscapes inspired by the hills of rural Mostviertel. Cathedral Drowning is led by members of Fechta and Wurzelwind, two acts from the same region, merging their sounds to create this unique side project.
