Hun debuutalbum 'Fear Is a Funny Thing, Now Smile Like a Big Boy' werd goed ontvangen; journalisten prezen zowel de crossover-capriolen van de band als hun durf om de grenzen van standaard gestemde gitaren te testen, zonder dat de muziek aan toegankelijkheid verloor. Op het tweede album klinkt RONKER ambitieuzer dan ooit. Het is een conceptalbum over copingmechanismen en de capriolen van een rock-'n-roll-levensstijl. De band presenteert een gelaagd en verfijnd geluid dat evenveel beïnvloed is door David Bowie ＆ the Spiders from Mars als door Refused en Slayer. Nog steeds agressief, maar met een old school benadering van songwriting, grote refreinen en nog grotere riffs. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
