VVK: 12 Euro AK: 15 Euro Shakar Trio: Shakar Trio was formed in April 2022 by three young musicians from Budapest: Marci Székely on drums, Milán Papp on guitar, and Bálint Lendvai on keyboards. They are strongly influenced by the contemporary Hungarian jazz scene, but also draw inspiration from foreign influences: the fluidity of Scandinavian jazz and the dance-centricity of Balkan music can both be detected in their work. Their goal is for their music to cause a universal catharsis, to stir something in the listener. Roundabout: From a small austrian village to the stages around the world. Within a short matter of time this young quartet has already established itself in the Austrian music scene. With overwhelming energy and impressive musical talent, the four musicians create complex soundscapes while maintaining the accessibility of rhythm and melody. Their music is a dynamic blend of vibrant Neo-Soul, R'n'B, and New Jazz. During their time together at Pop Borg Linz, they founded the quartet "ROUNDABOUT" in 2021. Like in a roundabout, the creative inputs of the individual ensemble members flow together and find their musical expression through various exits. Each exit represents the unique, individual contributions and styles of the members, forming a harmonious whole.
