In cooperation with the Chelsea Pub Linz we host acoustic music nights. Have a good night with us and listen to wonderful Singer & Songwriter artists! Lucia Leena (AT) The songs of Vienna-based singer Lucia Leena spring from a keen sensitivity to sound and a desire to put life into words. They explore themes of stagnation and self-empowerment, feminist motherhood, and the beauty of starting something new. It’s minimalist pop music—bold and moving. After several releases as the frontwoman of the indie-pop band Listen To Leena and as a session musician in various projects (Anja Om Plus, June In October...), the versatile musician is stepping out from the soundscapes of larger collectives to bring her songs to the stage with a minimalist lineup. She invites her audience to find peace—without distractions, without expectations. It is an invitation to discover the political dimension of pausing— a small act of rebellion against constant productivity. Her voice, acoustic guitar, and sporadic sounds from analog synthesizers create an artistic depth that is impossible to resist. Mark Peters (AT/IR) Known for his fingerstyle guitar playing and dynamic live performances, Mark Peters blends intricate acoustic guitar with folk/blues-influenced playing. His songs move between intimate, stripped-back moments and fuller arrangements driven by rhythm and groove. Originally from London and now based in Vienna, Peters is a professional guitarist, singer-songwriter and producer. Since moving to Austria in 2008, he has toured Austria and Germany and performed at festivals including Waves Vienna, Poolbar Festival Kultursommer Wien and Nova Rock. Writing, performing and producing his own material, he has released an album, two EPs and several singles, including his latest release, Ton of Bricks.
