This show is part of Sugar Mountain The Meltdown is een soulband uit Melbourne die warme southern soul en rhythm ＆ blues combineert met invloeden uit gospel en jazz. Onder leiding van zanger en songwriter Simon Burke maakt de band tijdloze muziek met een emotionele lading. Hun sound is doordrenkt van blazers, orgelklanken en meeslepende grooves, met teksten die raken. Met het album 'It’s a Long Road' (2022) bewees de band opnieuw hun kracht in het maken van soul met diepgang. Live staat The Meltdown garant voor een oprechte en hartverwarmende show. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein. Restaurant Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show.
