De band ontstond tien jaar geleden in de ruige Schotse Hooglanden, maar opereert inmiddels vanuit Glasgow. Toch blijft het rauwe gevoel van de natuur en de Gaelische invloeden onmiskenbaar hoorbaar in hun muziek. Sinds debuutsingle Far Side of the World uit 2016 bouwde Tide Lines een trouwe schare fans op in Schotland en daarbuiten. In het voorjaar van 2026 trekt Tide Lines door Europa om hun tienjarig bestaan te vieren met een jubileumshow, waarmee de Schotten ook een stop in Amsterdam maken. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein. Restaurant Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show.
