Waves Vienna versteht sich als Showcase-Festival und findet 2026 zum 16. Mal statt. Von 1. bis 3. Oktober 2026 treten vor allem jene Bands auf, die über internationales Format verfügen, aber es aus eigener Kraft noch nicht zu großer Bekanntheit geschafft haben.
