3 Tage Probenarbeit mit dem Gast Wayne Horvitz aus der New Yorker Downtown-Szene. Ein Ensemble-Workshop für Studierende des JIM - mit gemeinsamen Abschlusskonzert in der Stadtwerkstatt Linz. Drei Tage bauen wir gemeinsam ein Ensemble und arbeiten mit Wayne an Material aus seinen beiden Gruppen — zwischen Komposition, Improvisation und „Conduction“. Kurz zu Wayne Horvitz Wayne Horvitz (geb. 1955, New York) ist Komponist, Pianist und Keyboarder — bekannt u. a. als Keyboarder von John Zorns Naked City. Er leitet Ensembles wie das Royal Room Collective Music Ensemble und Electric Circus, deren Material die Grundlage des Workshops bildet.
