Der Dirigent Ingo Ingensand ist den AK Classics Konzerten eng verbunden. Zahlreiche Konzerte hat er dirigiert. 2010 wurde seine erste Symphonie mit dem Bruckner Orchester Linz bei den AK Classics uraufgeführt. Kombiniert wurde das Werk damals mit Antonín Dvořáks 7. Symphonie. Der junge, aufstrebende Dirigent Marcus Merkel kombiniert die 2. Symphonie Ingensands mit ihrer großen Schwester – der 9. Symphonie.
