Das Projekt wurde 2011 in Toronto von Daveed Goldman und Nobu Adilman gegründet und hat sich seitdem von einer kleinen Community-Idee zu einer internationalen Bewegung entwickelt. Feste Mitglieder gibt es nicht – jedes Publikum bildet den Chor des Abends. Mit humorvollen Moderationen, klaren Arrangements und Songs, die jeder kennt, schaffen die beiden einen Abend, der weniger Show ist als vielmehr gemeinsames Musizieren auf Augenhöhe.
