Voordat ze ook maar één keer samen op het podium stonden, werkte Couch bijna drie jaar lang via FaceTime aan hun muziek. De zevenkoppige band uit Boston die soulvolle indie-pop moeiteloos vermengt met funk, r＆b en jazz. Wat begon als een langafstandsproject tussen vrienden van de middelbare school en universiteit, groeide uit tot een titelloze debuut-EP en een reeks singles. In 2023 verscheen hun tweede EP 'Sunshower', gevolgd door tours met o.a. Lake Street Dive en Cory Wong (Vulfpeck). Ook deelden ze het podium met St. Paul ＆ The Broken Bones, Sammy Rae ＆ The Friends en Ripe. In maart 2026 keren ze terug naar Amsterdam voor hun allereerste headline-optreden in Tolhuistuin, met hun debuutalbum 'Big Talk' op zak. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein. Restaurant Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show.
