Der Spaziergang bricht dabei mit dem Mythos, Österreich habe keine Kolonialgeschichte. Am Beispiel Graz werden sowohl die Kontinuitäten rassistischer und kolonialer Bildsprache im Stadtraum, der sogenannte „sanfte“ Kolonialismus des Habsburgerreichs in Südosteuropa und die gegenwärtige Involvierung der Grazer Wirtschaft in Neo-Koloniale Projekte thematisiert.
