First Workshop Edition with TINA RAUTER! Flucc Community Dance Workshops curated by Karin Cheng THE LANGUAGE OF CLUBBING - Exploring the different layers of House Dance within a Clubspace House Dance is more than movement. It is a language shaped by music, culture, energy, creativity, connection ＆ emotional expression through the body. In this workshop, we will explore the different layers of House Dance within the club space — from rhythm and movement to feeling, expression and exchange. Taking place in a club that already brings its own stories and energy, the workshop invites participants to experience House Music and House Dance as an constant changing dialogue on the dancefloor. Bio Den Weg zum Tanz startete Tina Rauter durch das Interesse am Körper und dessen Komplexität in der Bewegung. House Dance war ihr Einstieg in die afroamerikanischen und lateinamerikanischen Tanzkulturen. Durch ihre Aufenthalte in New York und ihre Zeit in der Juste Debout School in Paris (2012), tauchte sie tiefer in den Community Aspekt und die Entstehungsgeschichte von House Dance, Waacking, Voguing und Hip Hop Kultur ein. Marjory Smarth, Sekou Heru, Archie Burnett und Bravo Lafortune waren maßgebend für ihre Entwicklung im Tanz. 2019 startete sie gemeinsam mit Altroy Jerome (NYC) das Clubbing A party called JACK in Wien. Neben Ihrer kurativen Arbeit bei A party called JACK studiert sie seit 2023 studiert sie Physiotherapie am Hochschul Campus Wien. Workshop Dates 2026: 7.10. 14.10. 21.10. 28.10. 04.11. 11.11.
