“Meet me at my p(l)ace” is a dance piece inspired by the Waacking community in Linz. It reinterprets the diversity, origins, and freestyle nature of this club dance style within a performative setting. Bringing together people of different ages, backgrounds, and genders, the piece highlights individual expression before moving into dynamic encounters shaped by tension, adaptation, and negotiation of space and rhythm. Rooted in the community’s diverse abilities, it evolves into a shared flow where individuality and collective belonging coexist.
