Workshop Package: 3 Workshops Workshop with Lavanda SATURDAY 17.10.2026 12:30-14:00 Can You Feel It? The Clubbing Body This workshop is based on Lavanda's whacking practice through her clubbing experiences and healing journey. It is about finding your own Groove and playing with different tools, such as the voice, the space, the rhythm and the senses. This is a space we create together, diving into our own body memory while remaining in connection with others. Lavanda will guide you through a sensory and sensual approach to movement, using our collective energy and the music as fuel to find freedom and creativity in your whacking practice. Workshop with Carla SUNDAY 18.10.2026 13:00-14:30 A Damn Good Whack Sandwich! The workshop is conceived as a creativity class. Rather than teaching forms, the class focuses on expanding one’s artistic self-awareness. The class begins with awakening our raw, instintive body, allowing ourselves to listen to real-time curiosity with no technical, dance-style-specific framework. From there, we move on to exploring qualities such as body flow and isolations, connecting them with Whacking armwork technique. The session also explores posing and character building through cinematic sound and imagery based on Carla's inspirations. We will facilitate each other’s exploration by working, composing and improvising in pairs, groups and individually. Workshop with Wesley SUNDAY 18.10.2026 14:45-16:15 THE WALK In this session we will aim to learn more about how we carry ourselves, what lies beyond the steps or better yet pre-dates the step? How we walk and how connected we feel to it says a lot about our personality, character, confidence and so much more. Every day we walk, so many steps in so many different ways. There are so many stories housed in our bodies. Stories we will tell and express through walking to music.
